Block 2: TRANSFORM

This 3-month 3-module high-touch interactive training is the second block of Good Ground Yoga's signature YA-approved 300-hour Teacher Training for Yoga Teachers.  In Block 2 you will---

🔥Master the art of hands-on assists.
🔥 Injury-proof your classes so you can work with any injury without getting flustered.

🔥 Venture off the teacher mat (your students do not need you to do the entire class with them) so you can make every student feel safe and seen and have a practice-altering breakthrough.

 

COURSE MODULES:

Module 4: Mixed Level Mastery: From Beginners to Advanced (January )

  • Create unforgettable beginner classes that are approachable, exciting, and doable leaving your beginners feeling empowered, lit up, and coming back for more. 
  • Bake in measurable moments of success for your students to feel inspired no matter their level or ability with my 4-Step Success Process to reduce frustration and overwhelm.
  • Make every student feel safe and seen without getting flustered and freaking out no matter how many different levels are in your classes or how many different modifications people need.  
  • Stop struggling with mixed-level classes and learn to make your classes inclusive and accessible to all your students.

Module 5: Injury-Proofing Wizardry & Practical Anatomy: From I Can't to I Can (February)

  • Discover the biggest injury myths and why these are keeping your students in pain and frustrated.
  • Learn the 5 simple steps to transform every action into a healing action so you know exactly what to do and what not to do when your students have an injury, limitation, or challenge.  
  • Learn my top ten tips for injury-proofing your yoga classes no matter what injury or limitation your students are struggling with.
  • Learn specific injury dos and don’ts for the most common injuries (back, hamstring, shoulder, knee, neck, wrist, and more).

Module 6: The Secret Sauce: Reading Energy, Seeing Bodies, Hands-On Assists & Verbal Adjustments (March

  • Read the energy of the room and know exactly what to do and say to help your students have a breakthrough.
  • Hone your "seeing skills" so you can tell just by looking what to say or do to get your students out of pain or struggle and inspire them to feel great about what they can do and not what they can't do.  
  • Learn how to confidently use compassionate hands-on touch to help your students understand something, feel something, and learn something they might otherwise miss struggling to figure it out on their own.
  • Make your classes coercion-free so that every student has bodily agency and the freedom to choose what to do or not do without stress or pressure.  
  • Master the art of verbal adjustments so you can zero in and speak to what will help your students work in the most healing way possible without second-guessing yourself.

THE DETAILS:

This is Block Two of Good Ground Yoga's signature YA-approved 300-hour Teacher Training for Yoga Teachers.  

This block is comprised of three modules of pre-recorded content plus 75+ hours of LIVE instruction in person at the Good Ground Yoga Training Center in Hampton Bays, New York or via Zoom (replay available).

Class size is limited to give students a chance to practice, receive feedback, and ask questions.

This training is open to teachers of all levels and styles (as well as seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their understanding).

Earn up to 100 hours of Yoga Alliance-recognized CETs upon completion of this training block or apply it toward 300-Hour Certification (when you have completed all 3 blocks).
