Growing extraordinary teachers committed to changing lives!
This 3-month 3-module high-touch interactive training is the third block of Good Ground Yoga's signature YA-approved 300-hour Teacher Training for Yoga Teachers. This training is a combination of pre-recorded content and live instruction and covers the following:
COURSE MODULES:
Module 7: Philosophy, Pranayama, Subtle Anatomy, and Spiritual Warriorship (April)
- Learn how the philosophy of yoga, pranayama, mantras, kriyas, and bandhas can act as “an instruction manual” for understanding and purifying the nature of our complicated mind, body, and spirit.
- Confidently weave yoga philosophy throughout your classes in a way that is relevant and relatable (so your students feel inspired to live their yoga).
- Dive deep into the anatomy of breathing and help your students downgrade their nervous system, increase their vitality and stay calm in the face of a challenge.
- Learn the 5 Inner Truths of Spiritual Warriorship (my signature methodology to teach from a feeling place) so you stop doubting yourself and teach with ease and pleasure.
Live schedule (replay available):
- Friday, April 4 (5:00-8:00 pm EST)
- Saturday, April 5 & Sunday, April 6 (8:00-10:30 am EST & 12:30-6:00 pm EST)
- Wednesday, April 16 (12-1:00 pm EST)

Module 8: Yoga for Addiction, Recovery, Trauma, and Co-Dependency (May)
- Learn how to teach through a trauma-informed lens so your classes are safe and supportive.
- Help your students regulate their nervous system, increase their tolerance for discomfort, and instill a sense of ownership and agency over their bodies without boring your students or sacrificing creativity.
- Trigger-proof your cues so they meet the litmus test of trauma-informed care.
- Dive deep into the neuroscience of the brain, Polyvagal Theory, and the mind-body connection.
- Learn the science of addiction and how the reward pathway of addiction keeps people in a cycle of habituation where their brain is essentially hijacked and how yoga can help.
- Leave feeling confident to teach through a trauma-informed lens to those suffering from addiction.
- Understand the roots of co-dependency and how not to create unhealthy co-dependant relationships with your students.
